Emily Brontë, (born July 30, 1818, Thornton, Yorkshire, England—died December 19, 1848, Haworth, Yorkshire), was an iconic female writer of the English literature. She and her two sister were writers, but Emily is considered the best of the three, even though she only wrote one novel. (Paraphrased from https://www.biography.com/)

Emily started writing short stories for her sisters, but the only formal work that she did was the novel “Wuthering Heights“. Her novel is considered one of the most complex of the works of the Brontë sisters. The story follows the life of two families along two generations, their ups and downs and their love stories; the novel is the reflection of the society back in those days.
With this novel, Emily won the title of the best writer of the three sisters.
